Letter One: This work is both a book and a "letter." It is composed of three main parts. The first part is a book made up of six short stories, which also serves as the primary content of the letter. The second part is a wordless book, essentially a version of the first part without text, as if all content has been removed from the letter, leaving only its closing line. The third part is a repeated inscription of this final line on a stone—a kind of echo, as well as a blessing and greeting to close the letter.
